i was in the same situation as you, but finally decided to get SB2, why? have to many functions to use, super responsive with a decent laptop, and looks very professional. DDJWego 3 looks like more as a toy than a real controller, that doesn’t mean its bad. if you are a beginner that doesn’t know how to use these kind of controllers, buy DDJWego. If you had already an older controller and want to improve your skills, buy DDJSB2 without hesitation,
Hello Lucas!
Just wondering if DDJ SB2 should work with djay pro for Ipad?
Thanks in advance for your help!
PCDJ has the Pioneer DDJ-SB2 mapped for Windows and Mac.
You can download the DJay Pro Demo 1.3.1 and unzip the downloaded file. Then find the Pioneer DDJ-SB2.djayMidiMapping file. Copy that file via iTunes onto the iPads documents lib for DJay Pro. Then Djay Pro for iPad recocnizes the controller and voilá Works for me Have to use a Powered USB hub though to power the controller, and the camera adapter to connect the hub to the iPad, but it works flawlessly Remember to rename the “Pioneer DDJ-SB2.djayMidiMapping” file to “DDJ-SB2.djayMidiMapping” (just remove the “Pioneer” word) before you put it onto the iPad’s document lib for Djay Pro
It works flawlessly for me I’ll be happy to assist you in getting it up and running If you have any questions just ask
Have you guys got it working?
It’s not natively supported by Djay Pro for the iPad. My comments are the solution to getting the DDJ-SB2 working in Djay Pro for iPad, and NOT the Mac version
I am having issues with the mapping for my SB2. I have plugged it in and although it is supposed to be natively supported, I’m not getting anything
Brian, I read your comment but it was almost spanish to me. I have a windows 10 laptop and an ipad pro. Im trying to connect the ddj sb2 to the ipad. I have the camera adapter and the powered usb. How do i transfer the file and get it into place?

What about DJ pro for Windows 10? Are you sure it’s working?
Hi, I’m using DJAY Pro LE with Pioneer DDJ SB2. When I connect the controller to my macbook and open DJAY Pro LE I get the following error when loading a track ‘controller not connected’. Is there a reason that this is happening?
Thanks,
Danny
Hi, thanks for your message. I thought that was the reason as I tried the demo djay Pro 2 and it works really well. It does seem a great app…so I will buy in full. Thanks again
Anyone tested the DDJ-SB2 with High Sierra on a Mac? On the pioneerdj site it says the following is supported; Mac OS X 10.10/10.9/10.8
