It has been briefly discussed before (closed topic): It would be great if we could assign a midi action to a controller button / scroll wheel / whatever to previewing tracks in the library section.
I mean this:

@koenigflo this function already exists as a MIDI mappable command. In djay you can find it under Target->Music Library, Action->Preview Selected Track. Note, however, that the preview menu in djay will not pop up like when you select the “…” on the screen. The song will simply start playing in the headphones.

Awesome! Thanks - my mistake was I never really noticed that “Target” could be switched to Media Library instead of the Decks… And there’s a “skip forward”, too!
