MIDI toggle function for Cue/Loop Bank 1 and Bank 2

Hi,
Since djay Pro 5.4 (macOS/iOS/Windows/Android), Cue Points/Loops now have two banks (1–8 and 9–16). Currently, switching between them requires two separate MIDI commands (Bank 1 and Bank 2).

It would be much more convenient to (also) have a single toggle command to switch between Bank 1 and Bank 2. Similar to existing toggles like EQ/Neural Mix or Elapsed/Remaining time.

Why this is needed:

  • Saves a MIDI button (only one button needed instead of two).
  • Only use one button for switching gives a more logical workflow
  • Reduces the chance of confusion or mis-triggering in a live set.
  • Fits the workflow better for controllers with limited assignable buttons.

Request:
Please add a “Toggle Cue/Loop Bank 1/2” MIDI command in djay’s MIDI mapping options.

btw; this suggestion originates from this question.

Thanks for the suggestion @DJ_Big_Blender. This makes sense. I have forwarded this to the dev team for consideration. Don’t forget to vote yourself!
