New Reloop Mixtour Pro Hardware

@PoyTB you can access Instant Double by long pressing on the album art next to the overview waveform. Yes, this is available on iOS.

Yes, this is also available in the MIDI Mapping section near the bottom when you have the Target set to Deck 1,2,3,4.

Hey @Michael_Wisniewski do the Hercules Starlight jogwheels have capacitive touch on the top surface and nudge capability on the sides?

  1. Yes, the Hercules Starlight jog wheels have:
  • capacitive touch on the top
  • nudge/pitch bend on the sides
  1. There is also a dedicated “Vinyl” button that switches the jog wheel tops between “Vinyl Scratch” and “Pitch Bend” modes. (the sides always stay in nudge/pitch bend mode).

Excellent. Thank you @Michael_Wisniewski

Thanks again @Slak_Jaw for the screenshots.

You mentioned that it’s a custom function where you press a button and one deck will have Acapella and the other will be instrumental.

How did you set up multiple actions with just one button as such?

Like i can see how you have the same name “Note EQ” but 7 of them according to the screenshot .
or Note A#-1 is 4 in total. How to add multiple of that please?

You’re welcome @PoyTB. Yeah, the Duplicate function is the key. I explain in detail how to map this in the linked thread below:

Thomann and others in Germany have it on sale currently for EUR 398: Reloop Mixtour Pro – Musikhaus Thomann

I use an old Native Instruments x1/z1 case but with a decksaver as the top piece. It just about fits and is smaller than the new Reloop case

I received my Mixtour Por yesterday. I think it’s great. I can’t complain about the quality. Everything runs smoothly. Only some of the controls are very tight. But I suspect that’s intentional.
It’s fun in any case

The controls/knobs you refer to have stayed “tight” after 6 weeks of owning mine, love it. I like them like that. It’s been great for working blended transitions.

Received mine this week. I really, really wanted to like it - the idea having a small battle mixer together with an iPad Pro sounded so good. But I didn’t.

First, the device started ‘chirping’ after a while (near the USB ports). Switching from an Anker charger to a Ugreen helped a while. It became unresponsive from time to time, requiring a restart of either the software or the device.

Besides these difficulties, I personally did not like the layout too much:

  • There’s a large section dedicated to FX - which in my opinion should be used rarely. Too much use of FX annoys me. It’s wasted on me and I didn’t come up with a useful replacement to assign to this section.
  • The pads have no pressure point whatsoever.
  • The knobs controlling volume and balance of the headphone output are miniscule and have too much resistance for my taste. I use them a lot, I personally need them ‘handier’.
  • The headphone cue buttons are in the FX section which is non-standard, at least in my opinion.

Anyway, besides the technical flaws (might be a defective unit), those are just personal preferences. It’s not for me, I’m staying with my Denon MC 7000 (which of course is a totally different beast).

Does someone know if the original Mixtour decksaver can be used with the Pro?

Size wise, the Pro is the same, just thicker/higher. The buttons seems to be closer to the edge, though … the original case has wide indent, with a side bump for the wide Load buttons only. If the Play/loop button section is as wide, it may just not fit.

I’ve had a mini gig tonight, and used my old Mixtour. The audio quality is just not good enough. Have forgotten how much I don’t like how it sounds on a good sound system. I want to sell it and get a Pro. As I have both a case and a Decksaver for the MT, I’m thinking of selling it with the case only, keeping the cover to use with the Pro. But if it won’t fit, I better order the MTP Decksaver right away to optimise the shipping cost.

I’m pretty sure the original Decksaver does not fit the new Mixtour Pro.

It does not. It nearly does… but sadly does not…

Looks like it works pretty well in tandem with LC6000s

Nice! I’ve been considering this exact setup.

Has anybody else noticed Jumps in volume on the master output on the master output? When I turn my device master volume to 10 o’clock, the sound cuts out totally

No issues with the master volume on my Mixtour Pro. Can you please share a screenshot of your sound settings?
