Official support for this hardware has been added to macOS and Windows with the latest djay 5.6.3 release.
A Core Audio issue remains on iOS (particularly on iOS 18). iOS 26 with iPads and iPhone Pro seems to be working fine without the output latency. For users who continue to experience latency, try updating to iOS 26, try disabling Bluetooth, and try to unplug and replug the Flux Go when djay is open.
Hello,
Just to confirm if this setup would work:
iPhone or iPad on latest iOS
Reloop Flux Go
CDJ 2000 nexus x 2
DJM900 NXS
If this works, what should I « load » into the CDJs to get the DVS timecode working?
Thanks!
Hi @Herve_DELPLANQUE, yes this setup should work since the Flux Go is a class compliant DVS interface even though the DJM900 isn’t class compliant. You will need 1kHz control tone CDs for the CDJs. When you want to use cues on the player you should consider using ABS mode, otherwise it can become confusing. I hope that helps!
Here are some topics from the iOS manual for additional reference:
Thanks a lot for your reply. I need to find a reloop flux go to try ![]()
How can I get CDs with 1Khz audio files? Can I have the files on a USB stick instead?
What is ABS mode? Is this absolute mode?
Thanks!
You’re welcome @Herve_DELPLANQUE. I’m pretty sure you will need to burn the 1kHz CD’s. We don’t supply these so I recommend you search online for potential solutions. Yes, ABS is absolute mode.
You can find a 1kHz DVS WAV file here. Go to the last section “How can I use the DVS feature on multi-players (CDJ, XDJ)?”

BTW, why would you want to use DVS mode and a Flux when you can simply connect the CDJ’s with USB to your laptop and use them to control Djay Pro in HID mode?

Thanks for the link to the 1Khz file. I need to use DVS because I want to use an iPad not a Mac or PC. But actually it might not be convenient because the CDJs midi support on iPad is not great, I don’t think I’ll be able to navigate my library, load tracks, etc… using 2 CDJs. If I can find a flux go I’ll try.
Thanks for sharing @olafmol
Don’t know your exact usecase, but maybe replace your iPad with a nice compact macbook air 13" or Neo? Also gives you a keyboard which makes searching tracks very easy. Of course you miss out on the touchscreen and it’s somewhat bigger…
Setup and connections will definitely be simpler with a laptop.
You’re right, I don’t think that’s a great setup. But i have a pair of nice CDJ2000NXS platinum edition with a DJM900NXS mixer which are in my storage because I don’t like playing with a laptop
My favorite setup right now is my FLX10 with the iPad. It’s better than a RX3. I sold my AZ and I enjoy the portability of the FLX10, the stems from djay pro, Spotify streaming and playing from a OneLibrary USB stick.
Thanks for the additional info @Herve_DELPLANQUE
I mean using your pioneer gear with the laptop. That’s what I always do. You can use rhe CDJs with usb as controller and soundcard for djay pro, and send the audio into the mixer for handson control. Best of all worlds.
Hi again @Herve_DELPLANQUE, here’s a guide for connecting a laptop to a typical CDJ/Mixer setup:
