I’d like to submit an enhancement request regarding controller integration and the on-screen interface. Specifically, it would be extremely helpful if the djay software interface would just automatically follow what is being selected or activated on the hardware controller.
For example:
- When switching between Cue Points and Loops using the controller, the on-screen display should follow this selection automatically.
- Similarly, when switching between Instant FX and Manual FX modes on the controller, the corresponding FX section in the software should update visually as well.
As you know: currently, you have to manually switch on both the hardware and the software side to actually see on screen what is selected on the controller. This adds unnecessary complexity during a set.
This feature would greatly improve the user experience during live performances, especially when working primarily from a controller, by keeping the screen display synchronized with the hardware actions.
