SEEK (1 bar) in reloop mixtour pro

Hi!

I just received my Mixtour Pro today, and it’s awesome!

However, I have one issue.

The track search using the “Browse” and “Mode” functions skips not by beat but by 1.3 seconds.

Is there a way to adjust this?

It’s really frustrating, but the controller itself is just fantastic!

Hi @Seoneva, welcome to the Community! In order to change this behavior you’ll need to modify the default MIDI mapping slightly.

  1. Please refer to this FAQ on how to MIDI map on macOS (it’s actually very easy and a great skill to learn): https://help.algoriddim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014911871-How-do-I-MIDI-map-a-controller-on-djay-Pro-for-Mac
  2. Once you’ve read through that and are in the MIDI Learn Tool, simply Hold the Left MODE + Rotate the Browse Knob.
  3. This should bring up the current MIDI control for Target>Deck 1 with an Action>Jog Seek.
  4. All you need to do is select the Jog Seek and scroll down to Skip (Rotary).
  5. Repeat this by simply Holding the Right MODE + Rotate the Browse Knob.
  6. This should bring up the current MIDI control for Target>Deck 2 with an Action>Jog Seek. Again, change this to Skip (Rotary).
  7. The last thing you need to do is to change the Skip Duration to 4 Beats in the onscreen user interface.

I hope that helps!

Hi Seoneva,
Please also consider voting for this feature so we can have auto loop and skip amount match, and save needing to open the extra panel to see what the skip amount is. Beat Jump - Auto Loop Length

Hello! It’s been a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!
