Hi @joccili, I’ve been told that SC is continuing to work on the issue. We hope to have more news to share later next week. Thanks!
updated? you all are trying to hide the fact this is an issue by hiding the topic
Just want to chip in.
I am a new user to djay Pro, and are experiencing same as described here, though not all tracks from SC Go+, but some.
Quite annoying - enough to both getting me to register to forum, writing this and re-considering my old software again (but I really enjoy other parts of djay pro).
Anyway, hope all gets resolved soon.
Cheers
Thanks for the additional feedback @joccili and @paramag. We are anticipating some news from SoundCloud later this week. I’ll share more information here when I have it. Thanks again!
Hello everyone! We are very happy to report that SoundCloud has fixed the “grayed out tracks” issue. Thank you all for your patience and understanding through this challenging issue.
- Please Note: you may continue to see some grayed out tracks in your library.
- This is most likely due to regional licensing restrictions on that particular song.
- You can confirm this by opening SoundCloud in a browser, logging into your account and searching for the song. If the song is restricted in your area, you will see a notification at the right “Not available in …” (see examples below).
- Please understand that this is not a djay issue, this is a licensing restriction and will apply to all DJ apps, SoundCloud apps and SoundCloud browsers in your region.
- That being said, please let us know if you’re still seeing greyed out tracks in djay that are available on the SoundCloud website/app, and if so please send us the track link. Thanks!
