Hi @Williams, thanks for reaching out. To clarify, the djay app is not broken. The full integration of SoundCloud with djay is not working with some SoundCloud GO+ tracks causing the “grayed out song issue”.
If you have a gig tomorrow and some of the SC GO+ songs you need are in fact grayed out, then I recommend you use the TuneMyMusic links above to transfer your playlists to Apple Music or TIDAL. Alternatively, you could purchase the individual songs that are grayed out and add them to your Local Music djay library. This will also protect you in case there is an internet our cellular data access issue during your gig. This has personally happened to me more than once at a gig and I was very glad to have a bunch of backup songs stored on my device. I hope that helps.
Thanks for the suggestion @joccili. Our team has been in contact with the SoundCloud team regularly since the issue was discovered and reported on October 10. We’ve been told they are working towards a fix. I will continue to provide updates here as I get them. Thanks again!
You’re welcome @feierlaune. This is likely because you haven’t recently logged out of SoundCloud and back in on one of these devices so you are using the older keys.
I pay for djay pro I pay for SoundCloud go+ so why is not letting me do anything I pay for both and getting jack shit for paying for both of them sort it out I actually beg
Hello there, I did all the step as suggested above, looks like greyed out tracks are less than before, but the tracks dialog box is now completely unresponsive for SoundCloud tracks in my app.
I’m on iPad Pro, latest iOS and latest Djay version.
I can’t pre cue the track, can’t add to favorites, nor adding it in a my collection playlist.
As anyone experienced the same?
Hope I’m not out of topic but if necessary I can start a new one for the matter.
Thanks much in advance
Just followed the steps above and still no joy. The same songs in the playlists on the DJ Pro app are still greyed out yet if i go into the soundcloud app then they are available to be played.
This issue has been going on for months and is starting to get very frustrating now.
All the suggestions I’ve tried just haven’t worked. I’m using an iPad Air 4th generation (2020)
Hi @Cheeko_Latino and @_it, the proposed procedure above was to address the 400, 404 and login errors of the 2 users before you. The “grayed out tracks” issue is still being worked on by SoundCloud and cannot be fixed via the process above. Thanks!
Hi @_it, can you please try to capture a video of the issue, upload it to your Google Drive/Dropbox, enable sharing permissions, then share a link to the video here? Thanks!
Hi @Nathaniel_Brophy and @Djbizzle, did the steps I shared above solve your 400/404 errors? We’ve tested on multiple systems and are not getting these errors. Please let me know. Thanks!
Hello, yes sure, here’s the link: SoundCloud Tracks Dialog Box
but obviously the screen capture can’t show me tapping on the dialog box, anyway please assume that when the dialog’s open I’m tapping on every option of it and nothing happens.
Must say that after a reboot of the app the issue vanished but only for a while, then was back randomly but only with SoundCloud tracks.
Had also some other issues lately with SoundCloud, sometimes when loading a track the cover charged on the upper box but no track showing on the waveform area and no artwork on the turntable in classic mode. Trying to load the track again a couple of time has solved but quite annoying.
Some tracks instead, even if not greyed out, were not loaded at all and I had the message on the screenshot here
