I use DJ pro AI latest versions on my Macbook Pro M1, iPad Pro 13 inch, M4, iPhone 16Pro Max.
I use a Reloop Mixon 4 , Reloop Buddy and The Reloop Mixtour Pro.
Playing on the Mixon 4 I can set my headphones out to Cue into my L ear and Audio out to my R ear.
With all the same settings in my software i cannot replicate this on my Reloop Buddy or Mixtour Pro. The Main audio and Cue goes to both Ears. I can fade from one to the other but in both ears.
Setting split cue “ON” in settings sends the Cue out to the RCA main audio out and split it as if using a splitter cable on those to hardware units. And I loose headphones out completely.
Anybody has experienced this and know a fix by chance?
Thank you for the response. I did the latest update for DJay Pro on my Macbook and yes got it to work.
It seems in iOS on my iPad and iPhone, that configuration drop down, is not available anywhere on screen. The only setting for split output is where Cue is assigned to Ch 3+4 in the settings. That only gives you Choice of ch 3+4 or Split out, which sends the cue to the RCA out.
On the Mac version in Settings it can be Cue to Ch 3+4 and split out to headphones in the dropdown menu.
Is this a possible Software fix from Algoriddim to have that as an option on iOS devices?
Please note that Split Cue and Split Output are not the same thing. Split Output is for using a DJ Mono Splitter cable and not for separating the Headphones to Cue and Master
Currently the Split Cue option is not available in the settings on iOS, but there is a suggestion topic for this where you can upvote it: Option for SplitCue for Pre-Cuing
