The biggest player is back in the game - Serato, Rekordbox and Djay Pro ![]()
Unfortunately, thereās no Stems - according to Digital DJ Tips:
As usualā¦
Recreate whole library, reanalyze whole library, edit cuepoints, etcā¦
It will take several weeks.
So at least I could give up my Tidal subscription and pick one of AI pro stuff (chatgpt or something else)
instead.
At least then the library is cleaned up.
No stems with Apple Music either - yet so many people have been crying out for their software to integrate Apple Music.
For some of us itās neither here nor there. Anyone asking for a request isnāt going to insist on the DJ doing stem separation while it plays. They just want to hear the track.
I read this and the news is great. But without Stem supportā¦donāt know
I love using stems and mix with it. I Already use spotify for other things (family & Kids
) so there is no extra money for me. Maybe there will be a full DJ support in the future.
At least a lot of extended versions are missing in Spotify and Tidalā¦
Yes.. I think the artists have found out that the spotify and Tidal are āpromotingā services for them.
I.e normal listener will use the short version and we djās need to buy the extended version from beatport.
And I hope they are getting better royalties from Beatport
I donāt see Spotify on iOS. Is it just for macOS?
the old code is still hereā¦
I donāt see Spotify in DjayPro either (On MacOs)? Anyone? When?
I hope Stems (neural) comes soon available in Djaypro for Spotify. That would be the Best news!
Apparently itās a Work In Progress, as itās available for some ⦠will probably be widely enabled soon.
I just downloaded an update on Windows, so check your app store (or whatever itās called on Mac).
For now, only for Mac and Windows, no stems⦠so itās not as spectacular as it sounds at first.
No updates on the Mac yet. (App Store it is
)
Same as Apple Music thenā¦yet people were/are going crazy for Apple Music. ![]()
Please also refer to this page for further details regarding Spotify Key Features and FAQs (at the bottom).
You canāt create or edit playlists (from within the software). Well OK maybe not such a big deal, but thereās no access to playlists you didnāt create yourself?
That sounds very restrictive.
