this only started happening after i updated. is there any way to download past versions of the djay 2 app?
I am running djay Pro 2 version 2.0.9 on El Capitan.
Today many tracks where “frozen” while loading and I had identical problems as described above 
What I’ve checked - I logged in into Spotify browser player and tried to play my library - THE SAME ISSUE - tracks were unable to load or where freezing while playing.
Guess what - It turned out Spotify is having outage today…
So please check if Spotify works for you via the Internet browser (as there is no cache for the songs for browser player).
I would suggest to check Spotify performance with a Internet browser (web based Spotify player). It is often a Spotify issue (busy servers) not a software one.
so i have the same issue - always worked 100% - then came the Mojave update and bang - i am screwed - same story - need help guys - tried everything now - no luck - running defaults on all -
no this isnt a bandwith issue or a spotify issue - the issues began after updating the software. On my older ipad which I have not updated the software, it works perfectly on the same exact network, without any hesitation EVER.
I can tell youre very knowledgable on the subject, but with basic troubleshooting I can deduce that this is a software issue. I am using 2 ipads on the same wifi network, same spotify network. Previously both ipads ran without flaw. On one ipad I updated the Djay app to the most recent version and now have constant issues. At the same time I’m running the older version on the other ipad without flaw, spotify works great. On the updated Ipad i also have the older version of djay pro, which i havent updated, which still seems to work well. The only variable is the updated software.
A simple solution for me at least would be to install the older version. Is there a way to find and install an older version of the djay app?
yes when running it on 2 different ipads at the same time, the ipad with the older version of the djay app works perfectly with spotify no skipping or stopping, while the updated app is constantly stopping playback.
this indicates that the spotify network is working just fine.
what do you expect? they have 83 million users lol
