Hi,
When I start a new track while the previous one is still playing, particularly in its silent end section, significant stuttering occurs as the new track begins. This creates an unpleasant sound experience, especially when the volume is up during a live performance.
Video Details:
- In my video example, you can ALSO see that the previous track does not reset to the beginning or stop automatically once it reaches the end. Instead, it remains in “play” mode even though the audio has already finished for several seconds. I am unsure why this occurred since the track usually stops, resets, and returns to the beginning, but in this instance, it did not.
- As a result, the stuttering effect continues until I manually stop the previous track (or switch the crossfader if I’m using it).
- This issue with tracks not ending correctly recurs unpredictably.
- It also appears that the stuttering and drifting worsen in the silent end section of a track. Notably, it’s not only the beginning that stutters, but there are multiple corrections as it attempts to adjust itself.
Additional Observation:
- I also discovered that this issue can be replicated by manually scrolling the playhead beyond the end of a track and pressing play again. The track remains in playback mode even after reaching the end of the audio, causing continuous stuttering when a new track is loaded.
Could you please investigate this issue? A reliable start and stop function is essential for smooth performances.
Thanks!
Thanks for looking into it.
