No, this still isn’t working. Tried three usb sound cards all respond the same. Music through usb is fine until I plug in the headphones in headphone jack. Then music trough usb stops. Pre-cue through headphone jack works.
@NerdShow this ‘Zalman’ is a very old sound card isn’t it?
Thank you for the reply Lukas. Are there any iOS soundcards (except for the one made by Algoriddim) you can advise? I have the one made bijAlgoriddim but this often gives a bad sound interference which only stops after closing the app and opening up again.
Algoriddim - will you please take some action to work out a solution for your customers. There must be tens or hundreds of thousands of us who paid you money for DJAY2 and rely on it. Pre-cueing is fundamental to DJing. The splitter cable is not viable because mono sound is not good enough.
We need a simple way to get a digital stereo main mix sound output and a headphone pre-cue.
I am sorry to tell you but this is a technical issue. iOS devices can not use the devices headphone jack while using a soundcard for master out via lightning. This is because they can not work with several multi output devices.
You would need an iOS soundcard with Master Out and Pre Cueing (4 channel soundcard).
But i had to power the Sonic Port before plugging it into the iPad. I also had to experiment with starting the app first or plugging the Sonic Port first and switching the iPad to standby or really closing the app and then restarting it.
