Anyone tried the new ios update 9.1? i canā€™t test mine because all my stuff is packed away in storage and i canā€™t get to it. reason why iā€™m asking is because i notice that my ipad air 2 charges from my laptop and my old ipad never use to charge from laptop usb.

right youā€™re not going to believe this , I bought the Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter + HDMI and tried it with a HDMI to tv and a headphone plug into the iPad jack and it bleady works! , Iā€™m waiting for my HDMI to composite to arrive and I will try it on my dj kit and let you guys know if youā€™re still interested.

Hi everyone,

I have also been trying to make an external usb soundcard work in combination with pre-cueing through the headphone out. Have tried various iPadā€™s (air/pro) and different usb soundcards (Sabrent, Trond and Speedlink) connected with an usb to lightning adapter. They all work as a main out and I can even split the sound. So far so good.

When I connect headphones through the jack out I even get a popup in DJAY2 asking me which channel I would like to use for main out and pre cue. Also at this time the music stops. As long as both audio out connections (headphone jack and lightning port) are used no sound is coming through.
Also tried this in DJAY Pro. But here sound stops as well. Not even a popup appears.

This is an issue many of us are experiencing and for over 2 years nowā€¦

I also own a Reloop beatpad and a Algoriddim DJ connect. These have no connectivity op precue-ing issues. The DJ Connect has no external power so it can not be a power issue.

So Algoriddim, what is the issue here? Why does the output of sound stops? The app keeps playing. But no sound.
Only when I use a product featured in your list of DJ accessories I have no problem. Now iā€™m thinking that this is not a technical problem at all. This is a money thingā€¦ You donā€™t want me to use a device with which you donā€™t earn any money through licensing.

I would really like to be able to do pre-cueing and at the same time have stereo out. As featured in your DJ connect. But DJ connect has home serious sound issues. When you start the app with the DJ connect already connected the sound is distorted. Also the big volume know keeps resetting to zero. This is annoying.
