Exiting loop randomly

Device model MACBOOK AIR Version of operating system SONOMA 14.5 Version of djay 5.2.5 Hardware/controllers used PIONEER DDJ-FLX4 Summary of the issue: If I set a loop on the inactive deck, sometimes (3 or 4 times a session) by the time I come to mix it in the track has carried on playing past the loop, even though the loop is still set if I look back on the WAV. Obviously this is fairly annoying as exiting a loop at the right time is an important part of mixing tracks.
