What does the MIDI Action "Toggle FX Bar" do?

There is a MIDI mappable action under General called “Toogle FX Bar”. What does it do? Its a MIDI Button. But it does not seem to do anything.

If I had a wish it would be great if it opens the FX view.

Please add a MIDI Action that quickly opens the Effects View on iOS on iPad. Just simply in the same way as the “Browse” button opens the Track Browser, it should be possible to quickly open the effects view. Use Case: Let’s assume a track is playing. You have your iPad in horizontal mode, 2 deck view. And you currently have the Hot Cue view open. Then you quickly want to enable an effect and change its parameters. I had the same question. I mapped it to a button and it seems to do nothing. I agree that it would be great if this opened the FX view on the screen. I would like to see similar midi actions to open the Hot Cue, Looper, Saved Loops and other views on the screen.

Thank you for pointing that out. We are inspecting the issue of double mapping some actions without an effect. In the meanwhile note that Toggle FX bar is already mapped in the default keyboard shortcuts with cmd + 3.
