As with any music service you can build your play list save it & not stream from anyone of them at the time of play. Every digital DJ does this unless he crating. If you want to go by the letter of the law, you have to submit your play list to ASCAP, BMI, SESAC etc, for authorization . You cant change your playlist & you have to pay each time you play a song. you never own a piece of music, whether you buy it or not. The reason the music industry doesnt bust Dj’s in the the ass is because it cheap advertising.
djmagicmoments, no ones bragging, but no one wants to be told that what they do is not professional. If they are doing what they do at their best, That’s all that matters. We are all here to learn & make a living. Well I’m 55yrs old & have seen a lot of people like you come & go. I’m still here though. I’ve done a lot things. This is just another bucket list item. What about you? How old are you 5, maybe 6. Throwing little tantrums? I like people like you because you have very thin skin, but like F******* with people! You are funny! I still love you though. I want to go to heaven! BTW you still missed my point! Anyhoooo! Lolololol!
You are funny! Lololololol! If $49 cause you to go kicking & screaming, maybe you can’t afford it! Lolololol! You get what you pay for. One thing that I’ve learned about software & it’s only as good as the hardware & operator! Just a thought! I really don’t have to brag about anything, it doesn’t put any money in my pocket or feathers in my cap. As far as me wasting time, maybe I have time to waste! Sounds like to me that I have an admirer! Lololololol! Stop trying to run this on a G3! Lololololol!
Lol?!? being a wedding dj is a profession but being a wedding dj does not make you a professional. A true professional does not feel then need to criticize and belittle another person in their profession for differences of opinions or their lack of knowledge in certain standards and by-laws. I am all for informing others of my views, my approach, and educating others on certan standards of my profession. You have to start somewhere and unfortunately most of us are human and recognize that we don’t know everything. For us humans, we seek out forums and other sites so that we can talk with others in our profession to potentially learn something new from them. Just because someone is not up to date on certain standards or by laws of the profession doesn’t make them any less of a person or professional. However, belittling another person in your profession for their apparent lack of knowledge on certain subjects that you know Oh so much about makes Whatyou look far less professional. What happened to encouraging others, sharing knowledge, and offering advice in a humble manner. People might actually take what you have to say into consideration thus creating the potential to make a difference. No one wants to listen to much less take advice from some Narcissitic person spewing negativity, putting others down, all the while maintaining themselves on the pedestal they deemed themselves worthy. Sorry but you are seriously lacking professionalism as evidenced by your negative antidotes. So your Magic must be that of poisonous variety. Lol I initially saw your name and thought," how clever! A wedding Dj named Magic Moments." Leave it to a Narcissist to use such clever deceit in a name to project themselves to others as something/someone that will bring such joy and wonder by drawing you in through thoughts of Magic “unicorns, fairies, rainbows, and pots of gold!” Unfortunately, its a gimmick, a trap, a way to draw you in but its not the magic that warms the heart, its more along the lines of "the wicked witch of the west, Salem and burning women at the stake, warlocks, and demons. And we all had such high hopes…Lol I guess we should have been bright enough to ask “what kind of magic?”
Lol Magic Mike the movie? I see the resemblance…both get most of their business/sales from young women, both draw their target crowd in by clever deceitful marketing gimmicks, both close the sale and locking you in with their clever marketing tactics that appeal to the senses. As for the movie, extremely lame and lacks any intelligent dialogue. Realization! High budget marketing, low budget film. Save your money, put the trailer on a loop, and you will come out ahead. Thats just my opinion:)
Geez…Silly people!!! You are seriously going to slander him and label him as Un-professional for utilizing technology to increase customer satisfaction. Anyhow!!! Who seriously reads all the jargon in licensing agreements??? So…who do you think is going to have a better crowd response? You or the guy using Spotify? Anyhow, Do you think Spotify really cares how their app is being used? I think spotify only care about getting paid. Meanwhile the two of you have your panties all in a wad over nothing. Or maybe yall are upset that yall didnt think of this? I am sure in month, 6 months, and year from now, yall will resort to using it. You DJ weddings for goodness sakes! You would think you would want to increase customer satisfaction and be ever so keen to utilizing such a wonderful program. Why doe the utilization of Spotify make them unprofessional? Its like telling a caveman he no longer a caveman because he decided to utilize the wheel. There are those who prefer to do their thinking in the box while there are those who think out of the box, in the box, and half in half out. Do you realize how silly you sound by belittling someone for being smart and utilizing advanced technology to become more efficient and provide higher customer satisfaction? Sorry, but the customer is demanding and they want bigger and better. Now you are going to diss the DJ that choses to head to their gig with their super compact super smart computer and controller in hand claiming that they have lack of professionalism because he ditched the turntables and albums? Hello, its called evolution and we are all guilty of it. So you are slow to evolve, its not a big deal. The problem is all your neigh saying is a wasted effort, because you too will eventually move on once the majority adopts the ingenuity of their predecessors. While you view them as Unprofessional, others view them as artist. You require rules and structure to do your profession while they embrace chaos overcoming obstacles and pushing boundaries to create the unimaginable. Just because you can’t imagine anothers ideas doesn’t mean they aren’t realistic nor undesirable.
