Just dropping in here to let you know that with the release of the latest version of djay Pro AI on iOS (3.8), the ability to use Audio Unit effects on the master output on iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 was added.

Would the addition of this feature allow some of you to use djay in the way you were hoping to when you voted on this topic or commented here? Please feel free to let us know either way. And if not, please share more about why/how you’d use such a feature in djay so we can gain more insights into what exactly you’re looking for (if you haven’t already done so).

Would be cool to tie DJay pro in with my other audio Devices. Any chance on adding in AUM/AU3 support on iOS?

Sorry if seems like a stupid question, but what is AUM? Is it like Aggregate device on mac?

It’s an app on iPad that allows you to route audio and midi apps between each other. The closest analogy would be the mixer section on Ableton.

I’m here to echo the request of IAA or the ability to add either A. Individual AUV3 affects plugins per channel someway B ability to open djay as an AUV3 instrument in AUM or C. More extensive controls for the current AU plug-in situation on the master.

As of now I can’t seem to select presets when I load up an AU plugin on the master. Being able to map midi to the Audio Unit parameters is the kind of functionality we need to really get things cookin. If these are things we can already do and I’m missing something someone please point me in the right direction.
