Xone K3 MIDI mapping issues

YOUR QUESTION / SUGGESTION / FEEDBACK:

Example 01:

Mapping button (1) to set a cue (works) but it automatically plays the track even when “Auto play when triggering a que point” is de-selected.

Map the same button (1) with a shift function to delete the cue point and it no longer recognizes the original mapping to set the cue point now only sees the shift function to delete cue point.

delete both mappings and now button (1) no longer works, no longer pops up in the midi mapping panel. I have to disconnect the controller for it to work again.

**This happens whenever I map a shift function on any control. Thus making mapping what i need mostly impossible.

Also other led mapping problems, quirks that make no sense.

Ive re-installed the firmware on k3 no change.

Thank you for any thoughts on this as I just bought these and I am pumped but my old Traktor x1 works better. :confused:

Please share a screenshot of your mapping for this button with the Advanced Control Options section expanded.

Did you properly MIDI map the Shift button on the hardware by setting the Target>General and the Action>Controller Shift Key?

Yes, its mapped as you stated.

I just switched to my Traktor X1 and mapped my deck 3 in 30 min. No problem, all cues and shift functions map and act as they should.

Has me thinking its an issue with the Allen & Heath software/hardware and not and issue with DJAYpro.

Could be. I don’t have access to this hardware to check for myself. There are users in the other thread with this device though.

The button is mapped normally, I’m fairly fluent in mapping but this is wonky.

I mapped 2 Traktor X1 MK2 for 4 decks. looping, Plenty of shift functions and works as it should.

*there are other weird issues as well, enough to keep me up to 1am and think about returning the Xone controllers.

Also, I’m the guy having the weird EFX issue with my ddj1000 so maybe I’m haunted lol.
