Hi @Santi_Gil, for the Drum Swap buttons on the GRV6, I would probably map these to the Kicks/Drums (Track 1: Trigger Sample 1) of the Looper. Then Duplicate the mapping (by sliding left on the command you just mapped) and mapping the same button to Neural Mix Mute (3ch: Drums). This will basically swap the existing track drums for drums from the Looper.
@Santi_Gil for the Drum Release FX paddle you could map this to the Instant FX Pad 1 and 2 and change the Instant FX Pad assignments to one of the Drum Echo Out options.
As for the jogwheel mapping, you may find this post from another topic helpful. It’s a different controller, but these settings might point you in the right direction.
It’s just the basics, and I haven’t found a good way to map the jog wheels yet. You can use basic functions, stems, and the loop buttons (but not the loop cues yet—I’ll map them tomorrow).
The next steps will be the beat FX and the groove circuit. However, I believe there should be official support for this controller. This is just a temporary workaround to play for a while, not a proper solution.
Hi everybody,I’m new here and been using Djay pro for a while now and loving it! I want to upgrade from flx4 to grv6 but I’m holding out for it to be supported officially! I hope they can fix this soon! Tnx!
We are all waiting for the official mapping. It’s a shame because the controller is really nice. I hate using Serato or Rekordbox, but I can’t wait much longer. I need stable software. I’m not sure if I’ll end up leaving Djay Pro for good.
Hi @pardi, this hardware is not yet supported by djay. However, I’ve merged your new topic with this existing suggestion to add support for it. Please use the blue Vote button at the top left of this page to show your interest in addicting support for this hardware. Thanks!
