iPad users could be the biggest beneficiaries of this update. As far as I know, Rekordbox does not allow the use of channels 3 and 4 when used with an iPad, and Serato DJ does not have an official version for iPadOS.
This means that djay Pro could be the only software to support the GRV6 with 4 channels on iPad (assuming it eventually does).

Not everything is mapped and some things are mapped differently than what is labeled.

Djay GRV-6 Support >>> First Impression - WOW!!!
I started playing with it with my iPad Mini and it’s amazing.
playing 4 tracks with no sweat, stems works perfectly, latency is no issue.
The way I see this is that now I have a DJ workstation that doesn’t fall from the $3200 XDJ-AZ

The crossfade stems feature is insanely good! I’m probably going to remap Deck 4 so I can use the knobs to blend each stem separately.

I don’t actually use Deck 4, so I’m planning to remap its EQ knobs for stem crossfading. It’s a great fit (one knob per stem), and I still have extra controls left over on Deck 4 for other custom stuff.

i am super curious on how this works, i was planning to get the grv6 to practice and get more familiar with rekordobkx and cdjs, would that be the case? like all buttons and functions match 1:1 or is a totally different thing when used with djay pro ? thanks

There are some differences, I use IPAD and I’ve noticed that the mapping for loops is a little bit different. Didn’t play enough to find some more. the STEM buttons are a little bit different as well. I must say that the crossfade stuff is super cool!
