“Improved tempo change during sync behavior: if sync is active, tempo changes on any deck will now synchronize with other decks, regardless of whether the deck itself is currently audible.”
Please explain, I tested on Automix, still looses sync..
Thanks @LaidbackFred, this means that the non-audible deck can now be used to control the tempo as well as the audible deck. For example, Deck 1 is playing and audible through the Master Output (Deck 1 Channel Fader Up) while Deck 2 has the Channel Fader Down (not audible). In the old sync method, if you moved the Tempo Fader on Deck 2 it would not control the tempo of Deck 1. Instead, it would disable sync and move independently of the Deck 1 tempo. In the new method, either the audible or non-audible track can control the tempo when sync is enabled.
What are the settings on the crossfader? Is the Tempo Bland option enabled?
You’re talking about the Mix Now option, as I understand it. I tested it on my iPhone 12 Pro and found no problems. In the left deck I have a 120 bpm track playing, in the right deck I have a 130 bpm track playing. I press Mix Now and gradually the tracks are mixed and at the same time the tempo speeds up from 120 to 130 bpm.
In this next video, notice the subtle static when resetting the Tempo on incoming song after the mix. Happens all the time.
When I record my mixes. The songs sound their best when the Tempo slider is set to “0”.
Since Sync/Tempo has never worked, this has been my work around to a good mix.
Its a terrible noise, and more noticeable on certain songs.
Hey there @Slak_Jaw
Yes Tempo off problem goes away.
My suggestion in the past was to have Djay reset the tempo on incoming track right after the mix finishes. Easy for me to suggest though.
Hello @Slak_Jaw
I found this video I made for your team 4yrs ago..
When Tempo Blend was Morph.
I created another video to compare Tempo Blend with Morph.
Sorry to say it’s the same.
P.S. Notice the Beatgrid was RESET?
That has been an issue for years.
Djay reset the Right Track.
Usually when the Track hasn’t been played in long time.
