I’ve been waiting on a the bpm issue for years now.. thats the only thing that stops me from using this software at gigs… I just want to half/ double my bpm by “batch” without having to load each song..
Especially search shortcut with keyboard on ios and also sampler shortcut with keyboard on ios
Well, now we see why you mentioned more updates coming first. haha Another AT XDJ-AN today. I think that means the 6.0 launch might happen any day now! ![]()
The XDJ-AN is supported on 5.6.7. We don’t have a release date for 6.0 yet.

Thanks for sharing @Polyura. I’ve already sent your dedicated suggestion topic to our devs for consideration.
damn! I completely forgot about this! I remember the first time i saw Stanton Final Scratch in person at a demo. My jaw dropped to the floor in amazement.
I’d love to have more control over the layouts. For the top image, I’d love to be able to squish the waveforms/jog/cue section up vertically so you can see more of the library. For the bottom image I’d love to be able to stretch the waveforms horizontally. I know that would squish the cue point section but you have to give somewhere to get elsewhere. While I’m grateful for the multiple layouts, (far more than my last software) I just think in this day and age we should be have more customization over them. Cheers.
All I want for 6 is pro Library management.
Custom track naming, color tags, retain current BPM across playlist hopping,
Nothing crazy, but dreamy features that ensure less time looking at the screen
Thanks @Mixfit
When will the tempo be able to be changed by the program when Ableton Link is enabled?
I’d love to see a global tempo option we can midi map. I frequently play downtempo songs and my sets can range from 80-120BPM so I’m constantly adjusting tempo as the set progresses. Currently djay is a little fiddly on this front, hard to always know which deck is master as someone who doesn’t use a crossfader.
The biggest feature dream I have is extended customizability.
Creating custom instant effects using what’s already there (for example, a band pass filter plus reverb with the parameters set to where I want them).
Saving effect settings per-track. When I load a track on the deck, the FX palette swaps with it.
Building custom looper packs from my own material.
A toggle to assign the master out effect to one deck or all decks.
I guess what I’m really after is a little sprinkle of Ableton on top of the delicious Djay cake.
supporting VST plugin as effects
