You can turn off the soft-takeover feature in midi if you go to advanced and move the fader. You’ll see pickup mode checked and then you can uncheck it. With that being said even with it unchecked, I’ve gone to adjust the fader and it’s still stuck. But if I use sync and then disengage, there’s no felt when moving the pitch fader.
I would just like djay to be able to handle the metadata of a track. It’s still crazy to me I can’t have separate cue points for an intro and radio version. Also, I just started using the iPad. This will be for wedding ceremonies and back up if my laptop crashes. One library is awesome, but I wish I could create crates on MacOs and have them show up on iOS.

I gig a lot with DJP on iPad - Crazy Ai ideas are cool but for me until DJP gives us proper playlist and library management we still have to cover basics.
- We still can’t re order tracks manually in a playlist in 2026, wild.
- Playlist jumping means endless scrolling because BPM isn’t retained when switching playlists.
But one library was a game changing update too!
I’m sure this year will be even better for Djs.
If you create your playlists in the My Collection source you can manually re-order tracks.

!!! nice!!! Thanks for alerting me to this, have to press “Reset” at the bottom of the sort options (Added, Album, BPM etc) , if anyone else missed it.
Would make more sense to call it “Sort” or something more relevant, it’s not intuitive calling it Reset.

Tutti questi suggerimenti riguardo all’adozione di funzioni AI sono semplicemente fantastiche e penso che la rotta sia proprio quella per il futuro, si giocherà proprio sulle funzioni avanzate con AI.
Dal canto mio mi piacerebbe avere il supporto allo schermo del Prime GO (come ce l’ha Vdj) e l’integrazione alla libreria di Engine, sì sono un dj che usa Denon 
…del resto sono macchine fantastiche ma il software è rimasto all’anteguerra rispetto a DjayPro!
Poi un’altra cosa che mi piacerebbe vedere è l’autocompilazione di punti CUE come fa Mixed In Key, nelle varie fasi della traccia (drop/verse/ecc), potrebbe essere utile per quelle tracce che non mettiamo spesso o quasi mai ma almeno ci sono i punti CUE pronti nel caso ci servissero.
Per il resto penso che sia un software formidabile per le sue performance e la sua modularità multipiattaforma.

Simple: recursive subfolder music listing.
After spending a weekend mapping my Roland DJ-505 controller, there is one thing that would be nice to have; customisable midi actions for things like long press, double tap of buttons and also to have midi out options for things like creating flashing buttons for alternative modes.
One other thing I would appreciate as well, would be to be able to zoom out more on the waveforms in Djay. Particularly on the iPad app.

What kind of AI are you talking about here if I can’t see the entire program interface if I open the program window to the full wide monitor format (3840x1600)…
