I would love to be able to have censoring, or editing in general, of songs permanently link to their specific files, so it loads that way every time. On songs I couldn’t find a clean version of, I have had to record it to censor in real time and save the recording as a new file. But to be able to select a range on a track to mute/loop vocals, reverse, etc. and have it remain that way would be a nice feature.
I also have a few tracks that start funny and I cannot set my first beat, and my first hotcue, a little before it. Ashanti - Only U comes to mind. Being able to extend the grid beyond the file/waveform for those purposes could remedy that.

One other golden oldie. Overhaul for the filters and search in the library. The categories should be extended to include new 6.0 features (energy, mood, etc.) of course.
Perhaps trivial and not a top priority, but still important in my opinion: a changelog when the integrated mappings are updated. Many people adapt the mappings to their personal requirements, some very extensively. With information about what has been added or changed during integration, you can then decide whether it is worth the effort to repersonalize the integrated mapping.
I just want Djay to be great at the basic industry standard stuff. Jeesh if I could delete a song from the library or hard dive or both with a keystroke command like Serato I would be happy. Next thing you know these microwave Dj’s are gonna want the program to wipe……… never mind

I wouldn’t mind. Djay is already pretty good software. I gig with it 4 x a week with no issues. So whatever 6.0 brings as long as it’s stable and doesn’t change my work flow I’m good. .
wow, yes! It’d be fantastic if djay would re-master each cued song within the parameters of the song that’s playing so there are fewer volume/level/EQ changes between transitions. some of the stuff I play from the 80s and 90s can’t compete loudness-wise with the stuff out in the past 15yrs or so, all Waves L2’d etc etc…this would be a perfect use for the AI capabilities of our current machines.
but that brings up a whole other request: how about allowing us to use VST plugins of our choosing on the Master insert? Multiband compression, anyone? Ozone?
As a converted Traktor user I would love to see a couple things that just make sense to me coming from Traktor.
Ability to edit the Comments field of a track from the Library list.
The ability to color code tracks. Eg. Select 5 tracks as orange with a drop down or new field. These tracks would be searchable by color if needed and would have either a colored dot or be shaded a darker version of the color in the library.
Not a simple one I’m sure, but way more midi mapping options. Especially in regards to efx, efx setting, and the ability to have requirements for midi mappings. Eg, If track is looping x knob changes loop size but if track is stopped x knob browses library as an example.
