Would love to be able to get traktor pro 4 playlists imported to djay. I’ve got years worth.

Exporting from Lexicon to Djay is done too! Just need to clean up, write and run more tests and it’ll ready for beta testing! Stay tuned, this week hopefully :fire:

Here we go! :fire:
The Lexicon beta now supports Djay Pro on Windows and macOS.
You can download the beta here. You do need the Lexicon subscription, but for beta testing you can PM me and I will give you a code to use Lexicon for free.

Please read the following:

:warning: This is a BETA! Backups are essential. Use at your own risk. :warning:
Lexicon makes a daily backup of your Djay library when you sync but you should definitely make your own backups too.

What works:
:white_check_mark: Import and exporting
:white_check_mark: Tracks, local & streaming
:white_check_mark: Playlists
:white_check_mark: Cues & loops
:white_check_mark: Beatgrids (partially)

What does not (yet) work, it’s all on the todo list:
:x: Smartlists
:x: Dynamic beatgrids
:x: Importing track rating
:x: Importing track color
:x: Exported keys are sometimes wrong
:x: Track list in Djay becomes glitchy after sorting by a column
:x: There may be beatshifts, I didn’t check them yet

Please report bugs on the Lexicon Discord in the #beta-bugs channel.

Thanks!!

Excellent, keep up the good work.

Are there plans for playlist migration/syncing from Spotify & Tidal for Lexicon?

I mainly use Spotify for listening, but can only stream from Tidal or Apple Music. So I migrate/sync playlists with Soundiiz to Tidal to have them available in Djay. Many of the tracks I also have in my local library, and would love to have a tool to get my playlists from Spotify to djay - tracks from the local library will take precedence, than Tidal finally Apple Music. Many people have AppleM subscriptions so Tidal/AM should be interchangeable, I guess …

Ideally, we will one day be able to purchase missing tracks from Bandcamp/other shops … and if Lexicon can facilitate this, an affiliation contracts can quite likely be possible for negotiations …

For me, a modern library manager must include streaming service catalogue integrations and allow syncing of playlists for Spotify …

Actually, I see there is some integrated functionality with the streaming platforms, and will be playing with it in the next several days. It’s seems to be not as complete as Soundiiz is, but does something with public playlists in Spotify/Tidal/AM/Sndcld/etc …

Interesting application this Lexicon is. Thanks for bringing our attention to it!

I’m sooo excited that you guys are working on compatibility with lexicon & DJay pro. One of the main reasons why I stopped using Djay is because of the lack of ease to transfer music to rekordbox when I needed to export tracks for use in clubs, but if we get this up and running I’d be excited to subscribe to both lexicon and djay pro again.

@Kaloyan Use the Track Matcher to match your local tracks with a Spotify or Tidal playlist

Just finished support for beatgrids and smartlists, just doing some final optimizations and then there will be another beta release that has is completely ready. Just waiting for bugs to be found by you guys

This is great news Christiaan! I’d love to give this a test. Been really struggling to manage playlist and such outside of iTunes on Windows.

Give me a PM with your Lexicon email and I will upgrade it

New beta version is released

What works for Djay Pro:
:white_check_mark: Import and exporting
:white_check_mark: Tracks, local & streaming
:white_check_mark: Playlists & smartlists
:white_check_mark: Cues & loops
:white_check_mark: Beatgrids

Just need some people to test it and see what you run into. Errors are a good thing, it’s something for me to fix and improve!

I’d love to see Djay supported in Lexicon too.

How is this going? Considering giving it a go.

It’s in the Lexicon beta for anyone to try, should work quite well

I’ve just started using MIXO because they now have djay pro support and its really good works like a charm for my medium ish sized library but what I’d really like is iPad support. Can lexicon export on iPad?

Hello. I cannot seem to find how I PM @Christiaan. I would like to try the Djay Pro integration.

If it works on Mac it should work on ipad too, the normal way through icloud

I would really like to try this but I dont know how and find no information on it and I’m using and paying for Lexicon for a while so im super exited to see this development. Installed the beta to try with Djay on iOs but am stuck as I dont know how to proceed. Please give us a starting point. Ty!

It’s the same as all other DJ apps, import on the import screen and sync (export) on the Sync screen

TY for replying. I’m downloading the executable from Download (BETA) | Lexicon - DJ Library Management and after running it launches the latest prod release (Version 1.7.17) with no sign of being a beta. That might be the reason why nothing djay related shows up. The file “Lexicon-Installer.exe” seems to be identical to the one I can download from Download | Lexicon - DJ Library Management. Is there maybe something off with the download page?
