Interest check for Lexicon DJ with Djay Pro support

This is the correct download link for the beta: Download | Lexicon - DJ Library Management

This looks like a wonderful product that I cannot afford. $17 a month for the starter plan is pretty painful, especially for someone with subscription fatigue. It’d be wonderful if you offered a versioned one-time purchase model as well, like major DAWs do, where you get the license to keep the current functionality forever, and pay for an update only if you want it.

I think that adding Djay Pro support would be great for those of us who like to use Djay at home but have to use Rekordbox when performing, but over $200 a year for that functionality is quite high in my opinion. Wishing you luck nonetheless.

I personally cannot wait for DJay Pro AI to be implemented into the Lexicon software. It would prevent me from having to create my folders or playlist I think to Serato and then think Serato to DJay Pro AI. It would make file tagging much much easier. I just wish Lexicon had a way to move or transfer files to folders but from inside the program. Similar to DJay Pro AI or Serato’s drag n drop system.

Really excited to see you have implementet DJ Pro as a beta in lexica. The best just got better.

I did some testing and was pleased that cue information and etc. Got through to day pro.

BPM and grid information didnt come through
Wen syncing back cue points, grid and bpm info didnt come through. Also the track got lost.
When relocated the cue points for into lexicon, however the temp cue set in DJAY also got into Lexicon.
Adopted beat grid and BPM info was not correctly taking into Lexicon .

Keep up the good work. Like to see better Djay implementation. So thrilled about this.

Hi. Thanks for the program. An interesting solution on the market. I would even say that the functionality and convenience are the best.
It’s great that integration with DJay Pro is being done. Do you have beta testers for integration with Djay Pro?

If you make an account and send me your email address I can give you free time for testing

just purchased a month with lexicon, I synced my files but it does not show any progress bars so I dont know if its working or not, can anyone chime in on this?

If the progress bar is not moving at all then it’s stuck for some reason. Can you report that on Discord? #beta-bugs

sorry Christiaan I’m not familiar with discord do you have a link?

Also your website, when you download Lexicon, Bitdefender anti virus blocks your download, saying its harmful to your system.

Yeah it’s temporary until Defender learns the application, it’s a false positive. You can join our Discord here

thanks Christiaan

Thanks Christian I figured out that you have to sync “Full” and it works perfectly better then DJay Pros Crate import. thank you

Lexicon DJ is the perfect tool for DJay Pro, crate conversion.

currently looking at lexicon and checking if there’s any integration. It’s taking really long to migrate from RB to Djay pro on ipad, as I have to manually import and organise each file.
Djay pro doesn’t have advanced library management features (like organise by date added or custom tags) so any additional tools would help.

Lexicon is a great and convenient program. But for Djay Pro to get everything right, you’ll probably need to use iCloud, which I don’t find very convenient.

There’s no Relink option on iOS, and if you don’t use iCloud, your tracks won’t play. You’ll have to add everything manually every time, and there are problems with that in Djay Pro too.

I asked for Relink on iOS and other improvements to transferring databases and tracks from computer to mobile devices. For now, we’re just waiting.

Even if we don’t think about database transfer, Lexicon is a great program for organizing libraries.

Just wanted to check something before purchasing is djay pro available to transfer my engine library to djay pro playlists etc and was wondering if I transfer an engine library database from a usb stick will it transfer my history also over to djay pro that would be nice

Yes it is available but still in beta so you might encounter bugs. Backups are essential.
History is not supported but if you turn them into playlists in Engine first they will carry over as normal playlists.

Just found this discussion. My platform is Djay Pro AI on iOS (DDJ-400) but I may have the option of playing on a CDJ-3000 setup using a USB stick which contains the set(s) and all the relevant loops, hot cues. So I’m really looking at csv export from Djay Pro into Lexicon, conversion to rekordbox and then create a USB from there to be used on the CDJ-3000.

Is this possible at all now or in the future?
