Issue with track stuttering and freezing when scrolling quickly through it

Issue with track stuttering and freezing when scrolling quickly through tracks

I’m experiencing an issue where rapidly scrolling through a track (using the ‘<<’ and ‘>>’ parameter buttons on the Mixon) causes stuttering and short freeze moments in the track. You can see this in this attached video.

A couple of notes:

  1. I feel this issue is more noticeable with longer tracks (the track in the example is around 6 minutes).
  2. Other similar software doesn’t seem to have this issue with the same action, and it shouldn’t be a problem for Djay here either (especially since I’m not using heavy WAV or FLAC files).
  3. Initially, I thought the issue might be related to having used sync for a mix transition with the track, or possibly that the problem was tied to one specific file. However, later in the video, you can see the same issue happening with a different “fresh” track as well, and without having done a mix transition beforehand.

This leads me to think the issue might be more related to the system becoming unstable after performing any other activities, such as mixing, starting/stopping tracks, starting from cues, or similar actions. After a quick retest, I noticed that the issue is perfectly reproducible and occurs on both decks.

I also recorded and saved a Diagnostic System Test during this behavior and saved the .tar.gz file here: Diagnostic System Test

Has anyone else experienced this or found a solution?

@Slak_Jaw: can one of you please check the video and activity dump file?

Thanks in advance for your help!
