Mapping for the Pioneer DDJ-SB2 available?

It is now officially supported. Make sure you have the most current version, and it’s plug and play.

Check your sound settings are all set to the controller: channels 1-2, pre cueing is 3-4 and microphone is your controller.

When the Pioneer DJ logo displays upon startup, you’re good to go! PM me if you need help.

I think you’re on the wrong forum. This is for djay Pro supporting the DDJ-SB2. Not the SB-2 and what other software it can support.

It works great with the SB2! Everything is mapped correctly.
The only thing I would advise is to buy it straight from Algoriddim. The FX Pack has issues if you purchase djay pro through the App Store. Learned this one the hard way.

djay officially supports the DDJ-SB2 now. Just plug and play. Not sure how Miles download is different. Who knows? Algorriddim probably piggy backed off his work.

At any rate, no downloading is necessary.

I’m confused. Djay Pro works with almost zero setup. Its a native application for the SB-2 since last Christmas.

If you are having trouble, its your Mac or your controller. I’ve used it almost a year now with my SB2 and it works flawlessly. Without any hacks or workarounds.

The reason its happening is simple: LE

There are only 9 controllers that work with the LE version. Basically, the ones that have the official certification:

RELOOP
Beatpad
Mixon 4

PIONEER
DJWeGO 1, 2 and 3

NUMARK
Mixdeck Quad
IDJLive II

Plus, there are a few features that have been disabled. $50 isn’t that much for all the features you’re missing out on. Plus, you’d be supporting the company that developed such awesome software.

In addition, LE will not work as a standalone application. You have to use those specific controllers.

Hope that helps!

Works fine. I think what you’re reading is the minimum requirements.

Hi guys,

@Miles
Please note that the DDJ SB-2 is natively supported by djay Pro for Mac, are you facing any problems setting your controller up?

@Michael Pendergast @nils192837

Please note that we can only support iOS supported controllers at the moment.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Duarte,

Shawn Waldrop meant that you mix with the SB2 by simply connecting it to your Mac and djay Pro.
Are you facing any difficulties or do you have further questions?

If you want your Laptop Jack to be mapped as the main output while using the DDJ-SB2, change your sound device settings to “Main Output : Built In” as seen in the attached screenshot:

Hi guys,

the Pioneer DDJ-SB and DDJ-SB2 are both natively supported by djay Pro. All you got to do is connecting the controller via USB to your Mac.
