New Reloop Mixtour Pro Hardware

Based on your description of the issue, I think this is an issue with the Mixtour Pro. I would contact Reloop Customer Support.

Happy New Year guys!

I finally received my Mixtour Pro here in Australia.

I couldn’t work it out how to map the mid-eq knob while the Neural Mix button is lit.
Currently, when i change the Neural Mix mid EQ knob button, it changes both harmony and base. I want only to change the harmony and leave the bass alone.

Hi @PoyTB, this isn’t possible with the way the normal EQs and Neural Mix EQs are controlled within djay. These can only function in 3 band mode not 4 band mode when using the EQ/Neural Mix EQ toggle. Also, because the Mixtour Pro does not send separate MIDI signals for the EQ knobs when in normal EQ and Neural Mix EQ mode you cannot independently remap these to different commands. I hope that helps!

Thank you for this, I just purchased the Mixtour Pro and straight away I got intermittent distortion from the headphones I was struggling to find any information until I got to your post

I have been testing this at home and I too switch between Rekordbox and Djay on Pioneer equipment, I am looking for portability and started using a FLX4 recently but the Mixtour has a smaller footprint and easy to travel with, after playing with it I have decided to using the Mixtour UI and a presonus Studio 24c as my sound card it is just cleaner and has more volume than the sound card on the Mixtour has anyone else tried a separate sound card with this ?

I have had my Mixtour for a month now and love it.

There is just 1 thing that that bugs me and that’s the gains and EQS, they seem to be overly sensitive.

I also find the EQs to be quite aggressive on the first 10% either side of 0. Is this something that will be looked at and possibly manageable in the future with the Djay Pro software?

Hi @Jayem0190, welcome to the Community! In the djay Settings>Sound try changing your EQ Type.

Hi Al. What power supply are you guys using to power the mixtour pro and iPad at the same time ? I’m using one of my old MacBook Pro power supplies that has USB-C. I hope I’m not gonna damage anything. What do you think?

I use:

  1. 30 watt Apple USB-C charger for MacBook Air M1
  2. UGreen 65 Watt USB-C GaN charger (similar to this one https://www.ugreen.com/collections/gan-charger/products/ugreen-65w-nexode-gan-usb-c-3-port-charger-with-us-uk-eu-plug-for-travel?variant=40362577657918)
  • Also purchased USB-C cables that can handle 65 watt Power Delivery.

Notes:
The Mixtour Pro is rated for 20 watts of power.

Ipad Pro M1 user here.

I must say, having the 5m USB cable was a game changer and save me many times than having to carry another power extension cable with me.
..

Also @Michael_Wisniewski - with the USBC GAN Charger .. if i were to plug a new device in. Does it stop the current power flow to the mixer? (one of my GaN charger does that, which means my there is an audio dropout if it is during live mix.)

Thanks for sharing @PoyTB

Is there any way to adjust the sensitivity of the 8 pads?
Mine need a serious whack to register anything.

I don’t think so… I noticed the same and it was one of the reasons I sent it back: New Reloop Mixtour Pro Hardware - #233 by koenigflo

Bummer. I love the device but the pads are not fun to use and the EQ knobs are too stiff for my liking. I can live with the EQ knobs but the pads …

Hi @rishi, @koenigflo is correct. You cannot adjust the pad sensitivity on this hardware.

@Slak_Jaw
Do you find the pads difficult to trigger also? Just wondering if it is unit dependent or a design choice. On the upside you don’t accidentally trigger things and given the small surface I guess there’s high chance of that.

They seemed a bit stiff when I first got it. Not sure if they loosened up or I just got used to them.

Mixon 8 is in general not great. buttt. I still use it cos it’s easy with Ipad. sometimes play button doesn’t work. seems like I need to press the buttons, not tap them. I hope there is a new Mixon where they solve many issues. a Looping knob is so much nicer than 3 buttons as well. IMHO

The Crossfader fusion support isreally missleading from either video of online picture.
ā€˜first devise that suport Crossfader fusion’
The Mixtour pro does not unlock the feature in DJayPro..
So really all devise support the feature.. providing you have the subscription..

There it’s not the first .. and there is no particular suppor

hi @Slak_Jaw

I’m back to this enquiry. I’m wondering is it possible yet with the latest update? I looked at the MIDI but unable to adjust the neural mix EQ, i think it is still the same case as your original replied on the 3rd Jan? Should I message them and request for this feature?
