New Reloop Mixtour Pro Hardware

Hi @PoyTB, no this functionality has not changed with the latest update.

I’ve just received mine and the first thing I noticed is that the left paddle is much looser than the right. The knobs are very stiff.

Anyone on here share any cool midi mappings for their Mixtour Pro just wandering if anyone has managed to map the new fx mute features etc for the Mixtour that they wouldn’t mind sharing on here

Ok just a question thought I would ask on here my new setup is The Mixtour Pro with a 10th Gen iPad does the job for me to be honest and I have power to Mixtour via provided usb c to usb c cable using a very good power bank for portable setups in the garden then iPad connected to usb c to lightning from controller to iPad all working great I just wanted to know would there be any way rather than stack up storage in iPad with tunes that I could external use a usb stick and use the tunes of it some sort of apdater or hub I have an original camera adapter but it dosent work

Hi @Gillster11, can you confirm if your iPad has a USB-C or Lightning port? According to the specs online, the iPad 10th Gen has a USB-C socket, not Lightning. Thanks!

Sorry just double checked there pal with settings it’s actually 9th gen Sorry any info on how I could make this possible

Thanks for confirming @Gillster11. Unfortunately, this is going to be challenging to achieve reliably with a Lightning port iPad. The main reason being that Apple only makes a single USB port Camera Adapter (Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter - Apple).

To be able to connect the Mixtour Pro and a USB drive, you would need a dual port adapter. There are some 3rd party companies that make these, but they are notoriously unreliable and I wouldn’t want to use them in a mission critical performance. So, in your case, it would be better to have your music stored on the internal iPad drive or consider upgrading to a USB-C iPad and getting a USB-C hub. I hope that helps!

Thanks I have a iPhone 15 that has usb c that I don’t use with djay pro I could use it but what hub would you recommend thanks

I’m using a UGreen CM195 USB-C hub, but there are lots of other good options out there. Just make sure you buy a reputable brand with Power Delivery (PD).

And how do I connect it when I get one

I discuss how to connect a USB hub in the linked topic below. In your case you’ll connect the USB drive to the hub instead of the second MIDI controller.

Hello! I’m wondering, do anyone trayed to connect two Mixtour Pro to a Mac or iPad ?

I’ve actually had this idea before. Technically, it shouldn’t be a problem, you can use several controllers at the same time. But the question is what you want to achieve with it. The Mixtour Pro is characterized in particular by its extensive feature set and small dimensions. If you want to use more than two decks regularly and simplify access, a corresponding 4-deck controller seems to me to be the better idea.

Hi @Gabi0110, I haven’t tried this with 2 Mixtour Pros, but I have done this with a Mixtour Pro and a Reloop Ready. Works just fine on macOS and iOS.

Hello all. New forum joiner here.

I’m at this forum thread as considering a Mixtour Pro as a backup and travel controller. I’ve come back to DJ Pro after using on and off since launch and playing with it alone on iOS is impressive.

Wanted to get some opinions and views in the following pls?

I use a Denon DJ Prime 4+ as my main decks and not going to change but if I go Mixtour Pro then I need to duplicate libraries. What have people used to migrate/copy their libraries? Key thing I want to bring over is cue points as a lot of gradual work has gone into this over the years.

Also, if I successfully export a converted library to a memory stick or USB, can I use a USB hub to read that library if iOS is the operating system for DJ Pro?

And lastly, has anyone used their Mixtour pro with a single lc6000 which can support both decks. I have one and have seen the possibilities with the Denon controller connected, but not really in the market for another?

Appreciate the responses and guidance. Cheers.

Hi @Tokes73, welcome to the Community! I actually own a Prime 4 and a Mixtour Pro myself. I used the 3rd party DJCU app to convert my library over to djay. You could have your music on an external drive, but I personally recommend that you copy your music files onto your device for the best experience. I hope that helps!

Thanks for the quick reply and info.

I agree that would be the best option. However, my iPad Air 2 was purchased for mainly streaming so space will be a problem.
My iPhone is also aging and might not quite be to spec. I’m trying to find a solution with minimal outlay beyond the Mixtour pro.
The other reason for new portable solution is I have 4 yr old Prime Go but this has become unwell and needs rehab which also has a price tag to it.

I’d love to be able to use this 3rd party software also but I believe it’s only for Mac only that correct anyone know of any alternatives to DjCU

This might help Gillster11?
