Pioneer DDJ REV5 jog wheels not accurate

I balked at buying a REV5 last week, but I am hoping this gets sorted. It’s really not make or break, but I would rather shop a controller without issues on Djay.

I
This is so misleading and is the only reason I purchased the Rev 5.:-1:. Putting out inaccurate information should be against the freaking law! At this point I am so pissed off…. Please update your site to reflect the Rev 5 jogs has a problem:folded_hands:. Gosh

Honestly I would take your iPhone or what device you have and take to dj shop. Plug it in to rev 5 and see what you think. I love mine. I don’t have any issues at all. I’m not a hard scratch dj though. I scratch a little here and there and rev 5 is perfect for me.

Scratching is part of my mix

I love my Rev 5 also . It just works better on Serato for my style. I would rather use djay also & I do. Djay works well with a lot other controllers. I dj at a few venues that have a flx10 and it’s perfect. It’s also perfect now with my rev 1…. So to keep my scratching skills the same on all devices I have to use Serato with the Rev 5 and that sucks

I hear you man. Hopefully they can sort it. I don’t scratch loads so Rev 5 for me is top notch. I’ve mapped additional stuff as well to suit my needs. Banging :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Hi all,

It seems that 5.4 solves the issue…
I gave it a quick test, and accuracy seems to be almost perfect.

@Five-0 let us know what you think about it

Thanks gonna try that

The Rev 1 is still way better than the Rev 5’s jog wheel response. Actually the Rev 1 and the flx10 jog response are about the same. Hopefully they keep working on it. No setting helped me…. So just baby scrathes when using the Rev 5 with djay

Thanks for the feedback @DJTonyBlanck and @Five-0

Hi there,

I must specify that Serato jog wheel emulation is still better than Djay… keep working on it!

But… for me it’s now usable…

Been testing setting on the jog wheels…. Seems almost impossible for users to get close to Serato without some type of new midi functionality. The pitch bend plays an important part of what needs to be adjusted to accomplish perfect scratching. Maybe the support team can look at these settings and helps us out.
