Please Allow Spotify OFFLINE

I planned to use this app in a live performance but as other users have said we may not rely on an Internet connection.

I hope you can improve this necessary function, we all love the Djay software, you have done a great work, but with adding this function you will go to the top and beyond others

I just read that this topic started 3 year ago,is this because of permission?
Then why Spotify itself allow to reproduce offline during 30 days while you keep paying a premium user, I think is only to integrate the same to Djay

If THIS is build in, i would buy the software! Currently iam looking around and djay pro for mac is on the maybe list.

(2 points are bad)

  • no offline support
  • very high tempratures in retina mode (IntelGPU is burning :O)

please allow offline, if you do it i will stay with you for a long time pleaaaase

bla bla oofline playlist support now thats itā€¦if you dj pro license and spotify premiunā€¦what else are we supose to needā€¦stop been there doing nothing and do what you have to doā€¦

if spotify can play songs offline ā€¦why cant djay proā€¦?? im so mad and frustrade about this mmmggggā€¦bla bla offline playlist support now thats itā€¦if you dj pro license and spotify premiunā€¦what else are we supose to needā€¦stop been there doing nothing and do what you have to doā€¦

wth are you guys bitching about?
Yes itā€™s should be awesome if it supports offline playlist.
But also bullshit @AL and other said about you canā€™t rely on the internet connection. total bullshit. I assume you also have songs on your hard drive??? Once the song is loaded to the deck your song doesnā€™t stop when you donā€™t have an internet connectionā€¦ Only a big logo appairs NO INTERNET! but the song keeps playing till the end. In the meantime, you can load a song from your hard drive into the other deck and play it until you have internet again you cry babies. Ripped off? cry more noob and do some research first if you buy like me. Really hate those guys

Offline Spotify implemented in Djay Pro would be great!
There are so many people waiting for the update.
You may catch the date from the offline songs out of the Spotify app

Spotify integrated is cool, but it would gorgeous if djayPro could read the Spotify offline data !

Exactly, although I donā€™t Dj professionally anymore,Iā€™m still dumbfounded when I hear about modern digital Djā€™s complaining about how much storage their setup has,I have probably 1000 vinyl records left in my collection, but wouldnā€™t have ever dreamed about bringing 10 odd crates to a gig back in the day,but here I hear of djā€™s whining that their iPads donā€™t have enough storage
and can only have a maximum of 10000 songsā€¦!

Maybe itā€™s me getting old,but I truly challenge any modern dj to be able to go through and remember 10000 tracks, and yes back in the day l would get the odd request that I didnā€™t have, but that never stopped the crowd from dancing and enjoying the night,in reality if you played a 4 hr set, with a track averaging 4 minutes, which equates to 15 tracks/ hour and over a 4 hr period comes to 60 odd tracksā€¦bring that up to 100 tracks over 6hrs and you still donā€™t need 10000 odd tracksā€¦
Iā€™ve culled down my digital library to around 1000 tracks, which on my 64 gb ipad equates to around 15gb of storageā€¦

Weddings I know can be challenging at times, thatā€™s why I only ever djayed 1 wedding (of a friend) in all my djing years dating back to 1984ā€¦but all that is needed is to ask for a track list of sorts or genre and youā€™re good to goā€¦
There was no written Dj law that you have to have every song ever createdā€¦
Of all the weddings that Iā€™ve been to,the Dj was luckynif he played more that 2hrs of music that was danced to,the rest of the time was just background musicā€¦

I donā€™t care about how it gets done but we really need Spotify downloaded/offline library support pleaseā€¦

I have djay pro, Spotify premium and I downloaded certain folders/tracks in Spotify I would need for a gig yesterday. I assumed djay would read the downloaded Spotify tracks. It didnā€™t. I had poor wifi reception and my hotspot had spotty reception that kept cutting in and out. I didnā€™t have time to download all the tracks I would need as mp3ā€™s during the week. Needless to say I had to return some money to the customer and was truly embarrassed. I donā€™t care what everyone else says, thinks or assumes, all I am asking for is that the developers for djay pro please add this feature. I love the convenience of the program and the new technology. You make my life much more easier djay team but again please do what you can to add this feature or let us know what we can do to help. Peace!

Its true listen to this people,if other apps could do it, so this can too, i use the app for djing, great app , i have to connect my phone so i could play my music from spotifyā€¦go offline is the right thing to doā€¦

Call me cynical but I think the reason this issue hasnā€™t been addressed so far is that Spotify might produce their own DJ app in the near future and that will be the game changer all they have to do from then is sort out the pre cue issues yet another bug bear and we are aware with DJ pro issuing a lot of refunds

Being as you can only download music on Spotify if youā€™re a Premium user and you need to be a Premium user to access Spotify via djay, I donā€™t understand why it canā€™t be updated to access your downloaded content when no internet connection is available. How about something like a once a day online check-in to validate your Premium to enable this feature to work.

I will not buy the pro-version if itā€™s not possible listening to my spotify playlists offline. Itā€™s ridicolous

Well, actually Iā€™m willing to pay even more for my Spotify monthly subscription, if I could have offline access to my tracks.

Currently Spotify premium 9,99ā‚¬, so Spotify dj-premium let say 15-20ā‚¬ might be really interesting option with offline tracks.

But if you ā€˜downloadā€™ the playlist off Spotify and go offline, those APIā€™s or meta data should still be accessible. So either Spotify ā€˜downloadā€™ option is complete trash or Djay software isnā€™t even looking at this data. I DJā€™d a wedding and twice the internet went out. Talk about bad situation for me. Luckily this happened in the beginning of the reception and I was able to play it off while we reset the venueā€™s ISP reset.

Like to listen to Spotify offline without Premium, you can get help from Spotify Downloader to download Spotify music as offline MP3, FLAC, WAV, AAC, files.
Alternatively, you can also update your account to Premium subscription, and then you can also listen to and play Spotify music and playlists offline.
There are two ways. You can choose the most suitable one to get Spotify offline.

Hi, Iā€™m a professional DJ And I use to perform with two CDJ 2000 nxs and a digital Allen & Heat mixer. Iā€™m also a Spotify Premium subscriber, for my personal use and I also bought djay to play sometimes with my friends :
I also cannot understand about complaining about Spotify offline integration.
Please remember that Spotify (online or offline is the same) is NOT for public performance but ONLY for personal or home use.!
So please if you wanted to perform with this software buy the songs you want to use as we do!!!

I am also for the Spotify offline function.

Is there any update?
