Iâm also in the same trapâŚwanting to use spotify offline with the Pioneer DDJ WEGo 3, and like Simon above have just discovered I cant. Come on guys, please get algoriddim and spotify to work with Apple and get a workaround, have spent good money to do this only to be let down by one or more of the above companies. Please publish a workaround Asap. Thanks

Please allow the support of local files that are synced to Spotify playlists.
Currently, any music/mp3/wav files can be synced to Spotify playlists.
However, because DJay2 doesnât support local files via Spotify, any that I sync to my devices from the desktop show-up as grayed-out or unavailable to play.
Spotify doesnât do any sort of cloud syncing of those local files, btw.
Can you expand your relationship/partnership/coordination with Spotify to permit the playback of these local files that Iâve synced to my playlists?

djay is a great app and i still have hope!!!
i have been using it since the beginning.
despite traktor reccomendations, i prayed for spotify compatibility but we really need offline playlists. many times djay has failed to play and even quit during playing which makes it unreliable. when we get offline playlists we will all be HAPPY:):)
I plan on making this work by using an iPad with 3G. Problem solvedâŚor am I missing something?
Spotify offline desperately needed⌠It has to be done. I use Serato to play out live at the moment and making no plans to take Djay & iPad to gigs until this is done. The software itself is not as capeable in a club environment but I would use it over serato despite its limitations if I could have my Spotify library without WiFi connection.
I bet you 90% of the people on here who play out regularly feel the same - Iâd make it top priority.

Without it spotify integration is pretty much useless!
I wouldnât say that without Offline Playlist playback, Spotify is uselesss.
It really would be nice to have, but it was a lot worse, when spotify at all was available.
My Ipad mini is WiFi only, so I use a 4G mobile router to provide internet conection

This app cannot be taken seriously, or used professionaly until Spotify is available Offline.
It is simply insulting to expect us to be stupid enough to rely on an Internet connection during a live performance. And this whole âsandboxingâ excuse is insulting & dishonest - it works with iTunes, it can work with Spotify offline if you want it to.
I am very angry about the fact that this is not mentioned before you buy - this is dishonest marketing.
This App has been uninstalled as it is useless to me until this is fixed.
I used to have a lot of respect for you Algoriddim - please restore that respect by reversing this dishonest decision (yep, this was a decision NOT a technical issue) & apologizing to your previously loyal users, as soon as possible - preferably Imediatley.

A Pro Dj could not be working alive with a internet connection.
The performance and the reputation is under analysis by the audience.
Its sad the lack of full integration with spotify.
I will use it in case of emergency, but every good dj need be fail-proof.
I hope algoriddim could bring up the use of offline playlist from spotify.

Sorry to hear that Warren. Itâs a shame because until this is resolved your product - which has the potential to be superb - will never be seriously considered by anyone who plays in public. It is suitable only for bedroom djs
