I think something changed in the last update on Mac from a few days ago. I am in M3, and never had any screen issues before. Did you update the software? And are your issues exactly the same as previously mentioned?
I could fix my issues by rebooting the Performer. But that’s not always possible at a gig. I had a larger event Thursday. No problem. Updated on Friday. Problems at gigs both Saturday and Sunday.
It was doing it before. But then they updated and maybe it fixed it (but I was back on Serato mostly so not positive there). But on this latest update, definitely did what I mentioned during a Wedding. Same side too. The right.
Hi @Scott1 and @RobustaDK, thanks for the additional info. We are working on this issue but nothing has changed yet in recent djay updates. Unfortunately, the issue is very random, so it’s completely expected that for some people a djay update or any other event would coincide with them not seeing the issue anymore or experiencing it more frequently. However, this is most likely just statistical noise. We are continuing to work on a solution and will share more news when we have it. Thanks!
A question for users with this issue: do you also have (and use) Serato on your Mac as me?
Same for me. Notice the right jog is missing wave forms. Also going to the Rane performer screen 3 or four times.
Last night during and 3 hour outdoor gig my right screen stopped working (displaying the Rane Logo) after one hour. I was able to reset the performer in a short brake but it didn’t fixed it. Before that I had waveform lagging on my left screen also. Bad feelings here.
If you toggle the affected deck from computer a to b (the switch above the gains) it usually resets it, but this has been an issue for months and no fixes.

Shared a video from my last event. Right screen did not work all night. Although I did not use it the other day, stem split seems to cause the screens to glitch. I hope there’s a way to just add the album artwork or another display like you can on serato. I don’t care about the waveforms on the jogs tbh, but when they’re supposed to work it just throws off your flow.

Had a wedding Friday and Saturday. I was in an outdoor tent both events. Toggled the jog displays back and forth from day mod to night mode when needed and had 0 screen glitches. The only thing I did not attempt was stem split. I was just too nervous to lose the screens which is a bummer because it nice to echo out the vocals. Unfortunately the Performer is loaded in a giant case in my trailer locked into a command center so it’s really hard to dig out and test in between events.

Same for me… running 5.3.2 outdoor for private party on Friday and Saturday (6 and 8 hours respectively) no issues at all!!! Thanks for the update

Screens have been 95% perfect. I gained the courage to try stem split again on the performer. It’s a really great option so you can just echo out the vocal. I was unable to capture a video, but when you enable stem split, sometimes you get a quick drop out in audio, and the screens will go haywire and revert back to the performer logo. This happened on the 4th numerous times. The fix was to instant double the track over to the other deck, then toggle the switch above the channel to the other computer. This brought the screens back. Tbh, I don’t really care about the screens. In fact, if I had the option I’d probably just have it display the album art work, or just the jog display you get on the UI. This is all you saw on the 1000srt and that was enough for me. Unfortunately , this is not possible atm. You don’t think you care about the screens until you see them go haywire.
For me, stem split is the culprit. When I don’t use it I have 0 issues.
