Well formulated @Kaloyan! I wholeheartedly support this. The ability to import recursively from local file system, or just point out the audio files root folder would be awesome.
When I wanted to vote for this I was out of votes. So I went to remove another vote, and noticed that I have already voted for 2 very similar requests, and for some of the more general “sync media database between devices” requests that have been standing for years now.
For reference, here are 2 other requests for adding/relinking from a root folder:
- Definition of a default (and user definable) Path for finding tracks.
- Include all Subfolders when adding a Main Folder from External Drive (iOS)
