What a coincidence … 
I just tried this and can’t say anything negative. However, especially with Smart CFX, it is not clear to me what exactly happens there and especially if and how the effect can be changed. Shift & Smart CFX anyway, as it is the case with Rekordbox, does not change anything except that Smart CFX is turned on or off.
Short Update:
In the meantime I found out that Smart CFX works in conjunction with the 3rd manual FX. Depending on which direction the knob is turned, one of two effects is activated in addition to the filter. However, I have not yet found an option to change these effects. Maybe someone from the support team can comment on this, because if you could use this for other functions as well, that certain functions can be triggered depending on other buttons, I’m sure many other nice gimmicks would be possible.
If Smart Fader is activated, the respective channel is faded out with an echo effect.
Overall, I find the implementation of just these new features quite well solved. Surely all this does not work as it runs with Rekordbox, but that is certainly also to some extent dependent on the internal programming and wiring in the controller itself.
