Improve djay Pro VCF Filter

I searched the existing Filter/VCF posts and consolidated the key requests here, so we can finally vote together for these changes instead of splitting votes across multiple threads.

Main request

• Filter knob = Cutoff

• SHIFT + Filter knob = stepless, live Resonance, without opening Settings

• Resonance should be fully continuous and MIDI-mappable

• Add proper Filter ON/OFF

• Replace Low/Medium/High Resonance settings with Filter Models: Pioneer, Allen & Heath/Xone, RANE, etc.

• Add Sound Color FX mode: Filter/Echo/Noise/Crush controlled by the Filter knob

• Allow full MIDI mapping of Cutoff, Resonance, ON/OFF and FX

The goal: make djay Pro’s VCF behave like a professional DJ mixer filter for live performance.

FLX6-GT Filter Knob Like Rekordbox Sound Color FX?

Hi everyone, I’m using a DDJ-FLX6-GT and I really like the way the Sound Color FX (CFX) work in Rekordbox. I can use the filter knob to control different Sound Color FX (not just filter), such as the ones shown in the screenshot I attached. How to assign FX to filter knobs?

I’m not talking about midi mapping the filter knobs on controllers to the FX in the software, I mean that you can replace a filter for an effect (noise, dub echo, crush, etc.) when you turn the filter knob (like the Sound Color FX in VirtualDJ and Rekordbox). [color-fx]

Filter resonance control please!

Filter resonance is one of my go to controls. Sometimes it needs to be low for subtlety, sometimes it sounds impactful when it’s high. Please add it to iOS! I’m ready to move across from serato if you add this (and 3/16 delay time!) Thanks

make filter resonance stepless and mappable

At the moment the Filter-Resonance is in the settings with the levels low, medium and high. This gives little control and impractical accessibility. I’d love have added an option that is stepless and mappable to a knob on the controller. This would be great to set resonance on the fly as sometimes I just want to smoothly mix without resonance, or get creative with high resonance or play with the effect of changing the resonance.
