I was mixing on my iPhone 11 at first When I activate Neura Mix I noticed there is a bit of delay before the stem is activated Then also sometimes the music skips It happens also on my MacBook Air 2015 Meanwhile the music has been
analyzed correctly I will drop a video of my issue
This is probably due to the devices. Neural Mix in particular places some demands on the hardware. You can get around this to a certain extent by selecting a display in which the stems are shown separately, for example, because then the necessary calculations are carried out while the tracks are being loaded and not only when you activate Neural Mix while the track is running.
But on my iphone 11 neural mix quality is 100 percent which its cool but on my macbook air neural mix is 80 percent i felt it was d device also but when i installed the ios version on my phone which has 100 percent neaural mix quality then i have a doubt the problem could be from the hardware
That was just an assessment based on my personal experience on various devices. What you describe, especially the delay when you activate Neural Mix, and what can be seen in the video, indicates that the iPhone is reaching its performance limits. This can have many causes, but to me it looks like this is the core of the problem. But of course I could be wrong, and if it can be solved differently, that would of course be great. Maybe someone else has another idea.
Thanks you sound right or maybe i should try djay pro on a bit newer version of iphone maybe on 14 pro but I would still love to have djay pro work perfectly on an old macbook or iPhone because at least Serato works better on old Macs even I can use my stems conveniently through Stem crates on Serato with old MacBook Air it works perfectly
Hi @Brown_bkp, when creating new topics, please do not forget to answer the questions in our template with specific details about your setup not just “iPad” or “Latest Version”. This helps all of our community moderators to provide the most effective support to users with the utmost efficiency. Thanks!
Device Model (ex. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen): Version of operating system (ex. iOS 17.3.1): Version of djay (ex. 5.1.3): Hardware/controllers used (ex. Reloop Ready): Hardware Firmware Version (ex. 2.7):
I’m unable to replicate this on my hardware so I need to know exactly what setups you are using so our engineering team can test this on their end.
Thanks for the additional details @Brown_bkp. In the meantime, please try disabling Keylock to see if that improves NM performance. Also, make sure you aren’t running any other background apps. I recommend closing all other apps and doing a forced restart of your iPhone before using djay.

I tried disbaling keylock but it improves a bit but i actually want the keylocks on and also i felt iphone 11 is not really cool with djay pro because i tried using it with FLX10 last night but sometimes while using neural mix my song skips for some seconds but all works well if i don’t use stem and it shows 100 percent neural mix quality on my phone
Hi @Brown_bkp, thanks for the additional info. Do you experience these delays or dropouts only when using Neural Mix or are there other situations when they occur?
Yes I have tried different cables of an iPhone I still have the delay also and even when I don’t connect DJay Pro to a player…it also delays some seconds and sometimes the audio skips and the audio waveform gets blurred out when the audio skips even at using in normal mode with no controller connected
Thanks for the additional info @Brown_bkp. Can you please try to capture a video of this happening with no controller connected and without Neural Mix activated?
Now I’m not connected to a player right now and I just have only 60 songs in my library and you can see the delay and how my audio skips from the waveform This what I’m actually talking about Imagine doing a transition and that happens I think the issue is the neural mix function because it only happens when using neural mix
That’s because of the device; it’s simply at its limit in that regard. I noticed the same thing with an iPad Pro 2018, but with a current M4 iPad, it’s no longer a problem.
